Casa Shakti
We chose the name “Casa Shakti” because Shakti represents the energy that sustains all aspects of life. This energy underlies everything we do here—whether it’s yoga classes, retreats, healthy eating, or vegetarian cooking workshops. Our lovely rescue animals help us stay connected with this energy and nature.
Casa Shakti is a 17th-century finca (Spanish for farm), nestled in pine-covered hills behind San Carles de Peralta. Surrounded by nature, the land fills the air with the scent of flowers, lavender, and rosemary. The house sits in an idyllic spot on a hilltop, offering sweeping views over the valley, the sea, and the island of Formentera.
The property spans over 50,000sqm, with part of it covered by a shaded forest, offering respite from the summer heat. There’s also a large expanse of almond trees that bloom spectacularly in spring. Our century-old terraces are devoted to organic cultivation and housing our five rescue horses: Arachana, Apache, Beauty, Sunny, and Rocco, our miniature pony.
The finca offers several terraces for relaxation and enjoying the views, along with a charming cobbled courtyard that leads up to a beautiful swimming pool with a jacuzzi and breathtaking views.

LOCATION
The villa’s secluded surroundings offer absolute peace and tranquillity whist being only a 2 minute drive from the village of San Carles, renowned for its lively atmosphere and variety of bars and restaurant. Its biggest draw, however, is the famous long- standing Las Dalias hippie market, which is home to hugely popular Namaste party on Wednesday nights.
Each area of Ibiza has its own characteristics and we recommend this area for those who want to discover a more alternative Ibiza than the one often seen in the media. This is a very international and mixed part of the island compared to for example, San Antonio, which welcomes a majority of British holidaymakers. You will find it to be a mostly residential area with not many tourists, so it is bustling even in low season. It is also offers some of the island’s most unspoilt nature.
We thoroughly recommend the use of a car regardless of where you are staying on the island as public transport services are poor and fairly limited.
A short walk away are some of the islands most loved beaches, from wild, unspoilt Aguas Blancas and Cala Mastella to trendy Cala Nova – with renowned Atzaró Beach Club and Aiyanna – and Cala Llenya, famous for its large sandy beach and turquoise waters and its lively Sunday morning second-hand market.
Es Canar and Santa Eularia are also close by for those who prefer urban beaches with more facilities.
